Praslin

Praslin is the second largest island in Seychelles measuring 7 miles long and 2.5 miles wide. On clear days this popular island can be seen from the east coast of Mahé and is only 25 miles from the larger island.

Many people flock to visit one of ‘most beautiful beaches in the world’, 'Anse Lazio', which has the most incredible white sand and clear, clear waters (amongst many others on the island) but Praslin is also home to ‘Vallée de Mai’ – the only area in the entire world where the incredible ‘coco-de-mer’ (coco-of-the-sea) grows wild.

Praslin is truly the epitome of Seychelles, it is the essence of the islands’ and represents almost all the other islands in one; beautiful beaches, clear waters, natural forests, rocks to be climbed, breathtaking vistas and a great selection of hotels and restaurants.
