Depart Praslin island at 9.30 am and enjoy a short boat ride of not more than 15 minutes to this special Bird reserve. Declared by unesco as a world heritage site for the protection and conservation of a large variety of seabirds nesting on this island along with rare endemic land species like : the famous Magpie robin and the Seychelles warbler that contributed in assuring that this island is dedicated for Nature conservation. this island is a rare island that opens for visit only From 10 am until 12pm, opened only in the weekdays and closed in the weekends and public holidays, the wild life and Nature is kept at the utmost natural state where a perfect natural ecosystem works almost undisturbed with all its offerings. this attracts some mosquitos and guests must dress ready for the occassion. A rat free island and a controlled embarkation and disembarkation done by island rangers in small fast James Bond beach landing style. Renowned as the most common site in the western Indian Ocean for the nesting of hawksbill turtle, many siting of turtles nesting is a life experience testimony. Important Information

This is a special trip only to visit the special reserve, guest are not allowed to stay on the island after the tour and embarkation and disembarkation only done by the island rangers and their boats as a strict precautionary measure for the control of rats. Smoking is not allowed on this island As this island is undisturbed of its Natural ecosystem there are mosquitoes and is recommended to prepare for this as not to affect the visit. A small open boat is used for embarkation and disembarkation and guest must be ready to get wet during certain times of the process. cameras with flash is not advisable.
