Praslin is the ultimate tropical paradise, with world-class beaches and amazing flora and fauna. Explore the Vallée de Mai nature reserve or the Fond Ferdinand nature park and enjoy the world-renowned beaches: Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio on this day trip. Departure: 9:30 a.m., pick-up at your hotel reception (we can also pick you up at the airport or port if you're coming from Mahé or La Digue) In the morning: - Guided tour of one of the island's two national parks: Vallée de Mai or Fond Ferdinand. The Vallée de Mai is a tropical forest, partly primary, mainly made up of palm trees native to the archipelago, some of which have been around since prehistoric times. Among these palm trees, you'll find the famous Coco de Mer, which has the biggest seed in the world. This one-of-a-kind spot has earned it a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The Fond Ferdinand Nature Park is the second nature reserve in Praslin. It's a cool alternative to Vallée de Mai for discovering the amazing Coco de Mer and many other species native to the Seychelles. For the Fond Ferdinand park, being in good physical shape is a must. Coconut oil factory Learn about the different processes used to make the famous cold-pressed coconut oil and how production waste is used to make the most of every part of the coconut, creating amazing products like sweets, jams, body scrubs, and soaps. Afternoon - Anse Georgette (20-25 minutes' walk) Get ready to be blown away by the turquoise waters along the white sandy beach, lined with giant palm trees. Anse Georgette is totally a postcard beach. Here you'll have free time to chill, take a dip, and snorkel or enjoy a plate of fruit and/or freshly squeezed juice. - Anse Lazio, you can easily walk to Anse Lazio (about 15-20 minutes), it's ranked in the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. This beach, where gorgeous polished granite blocks stand tall on the white sand and in the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the ocean. Here you'll have free time to swim, sunbathe, snorkel, or chill on the soft sand of one of the world's most beautiful beaches. Return: around 4:30 pm, back to your hotel, the airport, or the port. If you're flying or taking a boat, we'll adjust the return time to fit your departure.
